We paused in our study in Ex.3 to examine the "Fall Feasts" introducing express times. Last week we reviewed Genesis 3:15, as the first redemptive promise of the "Seed of the Woman" fulfilled by the Birth of God's "Only Begotten Son" in Bethlehem's manger. We continue to ponder the utter "simplicity" yet staggering "complexity" of this mission. In this message, we traced the winding path of Christ, as the "Seed of the Woman" veiled in "flesh and blood" first in fleeing to Egypt and returning to Nazareth becoming the fourfold workmanship of God. His baptism by John the Baptist at the Jordan ended His obscurity by introducing His four year ministry, as the Lamb of God and Messiah of Israel wherein he encountered great contradiction. His Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem introduced the Passion Week which ended in His apprehension, imprisonment!. Afterward Christ set His face as a "flint" to reach the Cross in order and finish the great work of redemption, as His Father's will. Christ was put to death on the Cross but was raised from the dead on the third day becoming the "Firstborn from the Dead," or the "First Begotten from the Dead." Christ in resurrection led "captivity captive" and as the Last Adam became a "quickening spirit" with the ability to beget many sons to glory. (Heb 2:10 KJV) For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
