We continue study of the Exodus Generation and Golden Calf Worship, Ex. 32-33. We are pressing through the Acts 27 Storm and embracing Ezekiel’s vision of the “open heavens.” The “Exodus Generation” awaited deliverance following the birth Moses and his preparation, spanning 40 years in Egypt and forty years of in the Midian Desert. Moses, contented to dwell in Midian, turns aside to be challenged by the “Great I am” in the midst of a "Burning Bush."(Ex. 3) We must also “turn aside” to behold the glory of Christ’s First Advent. In Nazareth, Jesus, as the “Word made flesh,” was the workmanship of God becoming full of “grace and truth.” John 1:14
